Owl Thank You Card

It has been almost 5 months since I have posted. I am sorry for the silence lately, but I have been busy with a new job, church functions, and everyday life. During my five months of silence I have still been crafting, but not as much as I was this summer. I have been busy with other projects like a quilt for my husband, an afghan for me (which is still unfinished) and a few various paper craft items. I am itching to get back into the swing of things, and have been bitten by the inspiration bug once again so I foresee more posts in the future. Without further ado, here is my latest make.
In my limited spare time, I have taken a few classes from Kit and Clowder and have been working on learning to color backgrounds for the digital stamp images I color. This card is my first attempt at a sunset background, I still have some perfecting to do, but I didn't think it was too bad for a first shot. IMG_20160221_212812_333000
The sweet image is one of my favorite Tiddly Inks, Owlways love you. I decided I would enter it into Challenge #176 - Thinking of You on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog

I  used my Cricut Access subscription for the owl cut out and the oval sentiment. For the flowers in the corner I used Lia Griffith's Design. The card design is an easel fold with a 5.5 in square base which is one of my staples. The papers are all various papers I have had in my stash for years.
Hope you enjoyed my card, thanks for reading!
