Jade Draggone Shaker Card

Hello Everyone! Today I am sharing another take on shaker cards. I am still struggling with waiting till my glue fully dries before I shake it leaving some of my sequins stuck to the edges. I guess I'm not patient enough or something. Today's card features an image by Jade Draggone. You can see all her amazing images here
I spent a lot of time in Adobe Illustrator designing the seashell for the shaker. I think it turned out good. And here is the inside.
I used purple and teal sequins for the inside of the shaker and used my Cricut to cut some craft foam out in the seashell form to raise the shaker.
Hope you see a bit of inspiration today!! Thanks for reading!!

Sasayaki Glitter Christmas Shaker Card

Hi Friends!
Today I am sharing a card using an image I had the privilege of coloring for the Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps Nov. 1st New Release.  I couldn't wait to color this image us as I had inspiration for what kind of card I would make before I had even printed the image to color. I love those AH HA moments.
This was my second attempt at a shaker card. I am still trying to get the technique down without getting sequins and glitter stuck on the foam that raises the shaker layers. But, I thought this turned out really well for a second attempt. Here is a close up of my colored image.
I colored the image with my Prismacolors using the pencils themselves as the blending agent on Canson Mi Teintes white paper.
The Merry Christmas Sentiment came from a friend of mine from a Kit and Clowder Facebook Card Swap. Let me Tell you, I am so thankful for Alyce and Kit and Clowder. I look forward to all the coloring classes and group support you get from being apart of her group!

The Challenges I am entering this card in are:

Hi Friends!
Today I am so excited to FINALLY share my Circle Scalloped Easel Card Template with you all.

Over the last couple of weeks I have been sharing different projects that I have made with this template. One of the reasons I have made several projects with this template is because I wanted to test and fine tune the cutting file, the other reason was to show how much potential this SVG has.

Sasayaki Glitter Christmas Fish Scalloped Circle Easel Card

Hello World!
Today I am sharing another Scalloped Circle Easel Card. Today I am featuring a cute Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamp that I colored up for November 1st New Release. The image is called Christmas Fish. I thought the shape of the fish bowl complimented the shape of my Scalloped Card pretty well.
I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and Canson Mi Tientes Cardstock and accented with some handmade poinsettias and greenery from my stash, along with some sequins, fun patterned paper and some ribbons.  Here is a closeup of the colored image and sentiment.
Like all my other Scalloped Circle Cards, I used the SVG that I designed in Adobe Illustrator along with a sentiment that I designed as well. I do hope that you will come back later this week (Possibly this weekend) to see how you can get my SVG for free!

Here is the original colored image for Sasayaki Glitter  and as always for more super cute images, challenges, freebies, and inspiration check out the Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog and Facebook Group.

Demera Bashful Fae Scalloped Easel Card

Hi friends!
Today I'm sharing yet another card I made with my Scalloped Easel SVG Template that I designed this week. Keep looking later this week for more info on how you can get that SVG for free.  For this card I used a freebie image from the Faery Inks Facebook group. I believe she is called Demera Bashful Fae. If you just LoVE this image check out more from the Faery Inks Shop. You can also join the Faery Ink Facebook Group as well.

One of my favorite parts about the Easel Cards is that they make the cards more like gifts than cards. I love to accent them with tons of embellishments as well. This one I acc noted the images with a variety of pink papers and fake daisies and a couple of my handmade roses, as well as some burlap and lace.

I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens. I am still very much getting the hang of coloring with alcohol pens, but I am pleased with the way she turned out.  I am super excited about sharing my SVG with everyone so keep checking back and make sure you follow my blog, my instagram, or my Facebook page to be sure to take part in the SVG Freebie later this week.

Moonflower Lullaby 4 Step Card

Hi friends! Today I am sharing a fancy fold carConie Fong Arts and Design. I decided to use blues and oranges because it was the color combo that inspired me for the moment!
d I made using this sweet digital stamp from

I used Prismacolor Pencils as the coloring medium and Canson Mi Teintes cardstock, and then accented the image with some great die cuts from SVG Cuts freebies and some mulberry roses and handmade flowers.  I LOVE the outside of this card, but the real highlight is what is inside.
I am OBSESSED with fancy fold cards, so I used the 4 step template that I whipped up in adobe illustrator to be used with my Cricut Explore.

Here is the list of challenges I am entering this card into.

Thanks for reading all! I hope you have experienced a little bit of inspiration today!

Sasayaki Glitter Scalloped Circle Easel Card

Hi All!
Today I am sharing a card that I created using this Super Cute image I got to color up for the Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps October 15th Release. This image is called Halloween Pups and you can purchase your own copy here. I love this image because it has more of an Autumn Tone than Halloween so you can use it for ALL your Autumn Themed Cards and Gifts, not to mention it is ADORABLE!

I used a template that I created in Illustrator as an SVG file for the card. This template has made it SUPER easy to cut out all my elements making my card making time way faster than normal. Keep your eyes peeled for more about that on a later post!
I also created the sentiment myself in Illustrator. I am getting to the point where I like designing in illustrator almost as much as I like coloring and card making!

Here is a close up of the inside of my card.
I accented the card with some harvest shaped buttons and some of my handmade cream colored roses.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

And here is the original Image I colored for the Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps October 15th Release. For more great inspiration and latest news on new releases check out the Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog.

Vampire Shy 4 Step Card

Hello Friends! We have a week left till Halloween. Today I am sharing another card I made using a Sasayaki Glitter Image that I was able to color from the October 15th New Release. This Cutie is called "Vampire Shy." The original image includes Shy and his House of Horrors and Bats, the background with the moon, trees, clouds and dead grass was all hand drawn by me. The outside of the card is about as simple as I could get, as I was most interested in highlighting this ADORABLE image.
I did accent the outside with some random Halloween I had left over from what I believe was a DCWV autumn paper stack. and then used some foam tape to cut out a bat with my Cricut.  I colored this image using Prismacolors and Low Odour Thinner taking advantage of my favorite Halloween color combo. Green, Purple, Orange, and Black.
Along with a simple front, comes a very fun inside. I am all about fancy fold cards and this one is one of my all time favorite folds.
I got the inspiration from this post in  Norma's Blog which is one of my FAVORITE blogs to follow. I used her template, changed the measurements to make it a 5.5 in card and set up the template in Illustrator to make an SVG that my Cricut to cut out for me so there were no errors. It seems like it turned out great!
Here are a list of challenges that I entered this card into.
And here is the original image I colored for Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps

Julia Spiri Scalloped Circle Easel Card

Hi All!
Today I am sharing a project I made using this "Mask Girl" stamp from Julia Spiri's Digital Stamp Shop. I used to not be into the color purple, but over the last few years, it has really grown on me, and I thought purple would be just fantastic on this image.

I colored this girl with my Spectrum Noir alcohol pens then I accented it with stickles glitter.
The card base is from another project I'm working on and will hopefully share with you all in the near future.  The lace and ribbons and green stick-on gems are all random finds from our local Walmart. and I accented with some Mulberry roses from Hobby Lobby as well as a couple handmade roses from your's truely.
Here's a little closer shot of the card and image.

I am entering my image in the following challenges:

I hope you all are inspired by my work! Have a Great Day!!

Owl Thank You Card

It has been almost 5 months since I have posted. I am sorry for the silence lately, but I have been busy with a new job, church functions, and everyday life. During my five months of silence I have still been crafting, but not as much as I was this summer. I have been busy with other projects like a quilt for my husband, an afghan for me (which is still unfinished) and a few various paper craft items. I am itching to get back into the swing of things, and have been bitten by the inspiration bug once again so I foresee more posts in the future. Without further ado, here is my latest make.
In my limited spare time, I have taken a few classes from Kit and Clowder and have been working on learning to color backgrounds for the digital stamp images I color. This card is my first attempt at a sunset background, I still have some perfecting to do, but I didn't think it was too bad for a first shot. IMG_20160221_212812_333000
The sweet image is one of my favorite Tiddly Inks, Owlways love you. I decided I would enter it into Challenge #176 - Thinking of You on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog

Hope you enjoyed my card, thanks for reading!
