Red, White and Blue Challenge

I recently lost my job, I have another one lined up at our local school, but I am free until school starts so I have been enjoying the time off by working lots at my church, and putting extra time into my cards. I was able to get my ETSY shop back up and running (Link in side bar). I've also been enjoying trying my hand at several challenges. This week I decided to make a card for The Greeting Farm's July challenge
The theme is Red, White, and Blue. I chose to use the Rubber Stamp image called Cheeky Cherry Pie. I decided to do my old standby easel fold because it looks great when displayed. So here is how it turned out.

I colored the sweet little image with Prismacolor pencils. For her hair I used a blend pallet that I learned from the pencil class I took from Kit and Clowder. I do say it's one of my favorite hair coloring I've done yet.
Thanks again for reading!

Sasayaki Glitter Christmas Shaker Card

Hi Friends! Today I am sharing a card using an image I had the privilege of coloring for the Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps Nov. 1st New Release.  I couldn't wait to color this image us as I had inspiration for what kind of card I would make before I had even printed the image to color. I love those AH HA moments.
This was my second attempt at a shaker card. I am still trying to get the technique down without getting sequins and glitter stuck on the foam that raises the shaker layers. But, I thought this turned out really well for a second attempt. Here is a close up of my colored image. I colored the image with my Prismacolors using the pencils themselves as the blending agent on Canson Mi Teintes white paper. The Merry Christmas Sentiment came from a friend of mine from a Kit and Clowder Facebook Card Swap. Let me Tell you, I am so thankful for Alyce and Kit and Clowder. I look forward to all the coloring classes and group support you get from being apart of her group!

Julia Spiri Scalloped Circle Easel Card

Hi All! Today I am sharing a project I made using this "Mask Girl" stamp from Julia Spiri's Digital Stamp Shop. I used to not be into the color purple, but over the last few years, it has really grown on me, and I thought purple would be just fantastic on this image.
I colored this girl with my Spectrum Noir alcohol pens then I accented it with stickles glitter.  The card base is from another project I'm working on and will hopefully share with you all in the near future.  The lace and ribbons and green stick-on gems are all random finds from our local Walmart. and I accented with some Mulberry roses from Hobby Lobby as well as a couple handmade roses from your's truely.  Here's a little closer shot of the card and image.

Sasayaki Glitter Scalloped Circle Easel Card

Hi All!
Today I am sharing a card that I created using this Super Cute image I got to color up for the Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps October 15th Release. This image is called Halloween Pups and you can purchase your own copy here. I love this image because it has more of an Autumn Tone than Halloween so you can use it for ALL your Autumn Themed Cards and Gifts, not to mention it is ADORABLE!

I used a template that I created in Illustrator as an SVG file for the card. This template has made it SUPER easy to cut out all my elements making my card making time way faster than normal. Keep your eyes peeled for more about that on a later post! I also created the sentiment myself in Illustrator. I am getting to the point where I like designing in illustrator almost as much as I like coloring and card making!
Here is a close up of the inside of my card. I accented the card with some harvest shaped buttons and some of my handmade cream colored roses.
I am entering this card in the followin…
