Stamping Bella Baby Shower Card

I started out my card making craze when I was 8. A really nice couple moved in next door and they loved having me over, I would spend almost every Saturday at their house doing whatever they were doing. Shortly after I started hanging out there, Rene got into selling Rubber Stamps. It was not uncommon for her to host a craft night every Friday with her sister and niece, me and my mom, and several other girls. We would stamp and just have a blast, it was there that I found out how much I LOVED making cards. Sadly, both my family and theirs ended up moving, but somehow I inherited a TON of Rene's stamps. Those stamps were one of the greatest gifts I've ever received, and I still use many of them to this day.
Flash forward to now, and I still love to stamp. I have gotten into my Cricut (R) Expression 2 a lot, but I still love the cards that I stamp and color. I am now working on developing my own style and flair and I love combining my stamped images and die cuts. This card was no exception to those rules.
I started with one of my favorite line of stamps from Stamping Bella (R) and then colored her with my favorite coloring tools, Prismacolor Pencils. I am by no means an expert at coloring, but I am learning. About a year ago I realized that I really needed to step up my game in coloring. After watching tutorial after tutorial I found a style that I liked and worked well for me so I just dived in and have been learning along the way.
After coloring the image, I found some paper that went well with my color theme, some of them were scraps some of them were new sheets and I layered up my pieces until I found a layout I liked. My finished project turned out like this:
It didn't turn out too bad if I do say so myself. If you want to purchase Stamping Bella Images you can check out all her designs here.
Once again, Thanks for Reading!

Sasayaki Glitter Christmas Shaker Card

Hi Friends! Today I am sharing a card using an image I had the privilege of coloring for the Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps  Nov. 1st New Release.  I couldn't wait to color this image us as I had inspiration for what kind of card I would make before I had even printed the image to color. I love those AH HA moments. This was my second attempt at a shaker card. I am still trying to get the technique down without getting sequins and glitter stuck on the foam that raises the shaker layers. But, I thought this turned out really well for a second attempt. Here is a close up of my colored image. I colored the image with my Prismacolors using the pencils themselves as the blending agent on Canson Mi Teintes white paper. The Merry Christmas Sentiment came from a friend of mine from a Kit and Clowder Facebook Card Swap. Let me Tell you, I am so thankful for Alyce and Kit and Clowder . I look forward to all the coloring classes and group support you get from being apart of her

Julia Spiri Scalloped Circle Easel Card

Hi All! Today I am sharing a project I made using this " Mask Girl " stamp from Julia Spiri's Digital Stamp Shop . I used to not be into the color purple, but over the last few years, it has really grown on me, and I thought purple would be just fantastic on this image.  I colored this girl with my Spectrum Noir alcohol pens then I accented it with stickles glitter.  The card base is from another project I'm working on and will hopefully share with you all in the near future.  The lace and ribbons and green stick-on gems are all random finds from our local Walmart. and I accented with some Mulberry roses from Hobby Lobby as well as a couple handmade roses from your's truely.  Here's a little closer shot of the card and image. Sasayaki Glitter Scalloped Circle Easel Card

Hi All! Today I am sharing a card that I created using this Super Cute image I got to color up for the Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps October 15th Release. This image is called Halloween Pups and you can purchase your own copy here . I love this image because it has more of an Autumn Tone than Halloween so you can use it for ALL your Autumn Themed Cards and Gifts, not to mention it is ADORABLE! I used a template that I created in Illustrator as an SVG file for the card. This template has made it SUPER easy to cut out all my elements making my card making time way faster than normal. Keep your eyes peeled for more about that on a later post! I also created the sentiment myself in Illustrator. I am getting to the point where I like designing in illustrator almost as much as I like coloring and card making! Here is a close up of the inside of my card. I accented the card with some harvest shaped buttons and some of my handmade cream colored roses.  I am entering t
